Kit list:
-      Oven cleaner of choice
-      Plastic sheeting
-      Old towels
-      Screwdriver
-      Steel wool
-      Sponge
-      Bucket
-      Old cloths
-      Hoover
-      Gloves
-      Masks and Goggles recommended.

Before you start, it is essential to be familiar with the instructions and safety measures of your chosen oven cleaner.

The first thing we would recommend is that you put a plastic sheet on the floor, followed by a couple of old towels. This will prevent you from getting the floor dirty or damaging it.  Also, you must open a few windows for proper ventilation.

You can check if your oven has a self-cleaning option if so, set you oven to that function. If it is the first time, you used this function; it is best to check your oven's manual.  Using this function will make your life a lot easier.

The next step is to turn off your oven at the mains. Then using a dish brush, try to brush off the stuck-on food debris and then hoover the remnants.

Remove the side panels and glass door using the screwdriver. Be careful when removing the glass as it opens up from the bottom.

Spray the oven cleaner into the oven – making sure that all surfaces are covered.

Leave the product for the time specified on the instructions and then remove the grills and trays and scrub them in a bucket or sink using the steel wool. Be cautious when cleaning the items in the sink as it can damage the sink.

Leave the items to dry.

Move back to the oven and scrub using the steel wool and hot water. After you removed as much dirt as possible, use a damp cloth to remove the rest of the product and any food remnants.

Finally, put everything back together and use a glass cleaner on the oven door to make it extra shiny.
